Setting Up Your Payment Method

When adding a new payment method, you’ll need to include your billing address to ensure security and compliance with payment requirements. This section guides you through registering your credit or debit card and managing your payment information.

Viewing Your Payment Methods

No Payment Method Registered: If no payment methods are saved, you’ll see a message: "No saved payment method."

Registered Payment Methods: Each card you’ve saved will display:

  • Card Details: The card brand and the last four digits (e.g., “Visa ending in 1234”).
  • Expiration Date: Displayed in MM/YY format.
  • Edit Button: Allows updates to card details.
  • Remove Button: Enables card removal if another valid card is registered.
  • Set as Primary: Allows you to designate a card as the primary method for future transactions.

Adding a New Card

Supported Card Types: You can add Visa, MasterCard, or American Express cards.

Form Fields:

  • Cardholder Name: Enter the name as it appears on the card.
  • Card Number: Provide the card number without spaces.
  • Expiration Date: Enter the expiration date.
  • Security Code: Enter the CVV (three or four digits).
  • Billing Address: Include your street address, city, state/province, postal code, and country.

Handling Card Confirmation

Success: You’ll receive a confirmation that your card was successfully added or updated.

Failure: If there’s an issue, an error message will prompt you to double-check your details. Be mindful of the following:

  • Card issues: Insufficient funds, card expiration, declined card status, or incorrect card details.
  • Action: Ensure your card information is accurate, and that sufficient funds are available, then try again.

Important Payment Method Rules and Guidelines


Max Two Cards:
You can save up to two payment methods on Loxala.

Primary Card: Only one card can be set as the primary payment method. Setting a new primary card updates the billing system, effective in the next billing cycle.

Removing a Card: If you wish to remove a card, ensure another valid payment method is available. You’ll be prompted to confirm the alternative payment method for future billing.
