Steps to Update Profile Information

An updated profile builds credibility, facilitates clear communication, and helps freelancers understand your role and organizational background. Follow these steps to maintain a comprehensive profile.

Profile Photo

Requirement: Upload a professional photo in JPEG or PNG format (up to 5MB). This personalizes your profile and creates a human connection with freelancers.

Content Standards: To maintain professional standards, photos undergo automatic screening to prevent inappropriate content (e.g., animals or cartoons).

Name and Job Title

Name: Enter your first and last names in separate fields to ensure proper addressability by freelancers. The maximum character limit for names is 20 characters for the first name and 40 for the last name.

Job Title: Specify your current job title or role within your organization. This detail gives freelancers insight into your position and responsibilities, helping set the context for future interactions.

Company Details

Associated Companies: Display logos of up to four companies linked to your profile. These logos are clickable, leading freelancers to each company's detailed profile page.

Add Company: If you represent more than one company, use the "Add New Company" option to include additional profiles. A minimum of one active company profile is required to complete the employer profile setup.

About Me

Use the "About Me" section to write a comprehensive bio that includes:

Professional Background: A summary of your career, areas of expertise, and key responsibilities.

Objectives on Loxala: What you aim to achieve by hiring freelancers on Loxala, including any specific project goals.

Character Limit: Maximum of 2,500 characters, allowing enough space for a detailed overview.

Country and Local Time Settings

Country: Your country is initially detected upon registration but can be manually changed under settings.

Local Time: The system displays your local time in the format (GMT+3) 12:45PM, making time zone coordination easier for freelancers.

• For U.S. users: The local time display will not be available.
• For other locations: The time zone will automatically update if the country changes in settings.

Verification Icon

A verification badge on your profile enhances credibility and helps freelancers verify the security of the payment process.

• Process: The icon appears automatically once you complete a payment transaction with either Loxala or a freelancer.
• Purpose: This badge signals that your payment processes are verified, reinforcing freelancer confidence in collaborating with you.

Creating and Managing a Company Profile

A detailed company profile not only highlights your organization’s offerings but also helps attract relevant freelancers. Here’s a breakdown of setting up and managing your company profile.

Setting Up a Company Page

Company Creation: Use the "Create a Company" option to set up a profile. Fill in essential details, including:

• Company Name: Required to avoid name duplication, and users are advised to use clear, accurate names for professional presentation.
• Company Logo: A JPEG or PNG image (up to 5MB) representing your organization’s visual identity. The image is screened to prevent inappropriate content.
• Industry Selection: Select the industry your company operates in from a predefined list to help freelancers understand the domain of expertise.

About the Company

Provide a description of your company’s mission, history, key achievements, and what sets it apart in the "About" section (500-2,500 characters).

• Unique Selling Points: Include details that distinguish your company, such as awards, successful projects, or long-term goals.
• Company Size: Indicate team size from a dropdown, options include "10+", "50+", "100+", etc., giving freelancers a sense of your company’s scale and project capacity.

Location and Address

• Company Address: Include full address details—street, city, postal code, and country. For remote companies, select "Remote Work" with only the country as a required field.
• Google Maps Integration: If a physical address is provided, a link to Google Maps is generated for easy location referencing.

Verification Badge

Like the employer profile verification, a verification icon on the company profile indicates successful payment transactions on Loxala, ensuring freelancers of secured financial processes.

Company Activity & Industry Focus

• Project Metrics: Display the number of freelancers hired, active jobs, repeat hires, and industry categories where your company has completed projects.
• Spending Level Badge: Loxala offers three levels of spending badges (Standard, Advance, Premier) based on your expenditure, displayed prominently for freelancers.

Reporting and Reviewing Profiles

In cases where profile discrepancies or inappropriate behaviors arise, Loxala offers a straightforward reporting process to ensure platform integrity.

Report a Profile

When reporting, users can select from a list of reasons such as:

• Misleading Information: Incorrect or false information on profiles.
• Inappropriate Behavior: Unprofessional actions or communication.
• Payment Issues: Non-payment or chargebacks.

Detailed Description

Users can provide additional details, up to 5,000 characters, about the issue they’re reporting. This report is sent to Loxala’s admin team, who reviews it and takes appropriate action. Upon submission, users receive a confirmation message stating that their report is under review.
