Stay in control of your Loxala notifications by setting up personalized preferences for updates, alerts, and communications. This guide will show you how to adjust notification settings by category and frequency, so you receive updates in a way that best suits your workflow.

Notification Categories and Types

Notifications are organized into specific categories, each designed to keep you informed on essential actions and updates across the platform.

Job Management Notifications

This category covers updates related to job postings and ongoing projects. Choose from the following notification types:

• New Job Proposal: Receive an alert when a freelancer submits a proposal for your job.
• New Application Received: Get notified when a freelancer applies for your job posting.
• Interview Scheduled: Stay updated with alerts on scheduled interviews.
• Contract Offer Accepted: Know instantly when a freelancer accepts a job offer.
• Contract Offer Declined: Receive a notification if a freelancer declines a job offer.
• Milestone Submission: Get updates when a freelancer submits work for a milestone.
• Job Completion: Be alerted when a project is marked as completed.
• Feedback Request: Receive reminders to leave feedback for freelancers after job completion.

Messages Notifications

This category focuses on communications between you and freelancers, ensuring you stay connected:

• New Message: Be notified whenever you receive a new message from a freelancer.
• Message Follow-Up: Receive reminders to respond to freelancer inquiries or messages promptly.

Customizing Notification Settings

Easily manage which notifications you’d like to receive through a set of toggle switches next to each notification type. This allows you to control the flow of information and personalize your experience on Loxala:

• Toggle On: Enable notifications for specific events or categories.
• Toggle Off: Disable notifications you don’t want to receive, refining your notification feed.

Notification Frequency Options

Select your preferred notification frequency for each category to ensure you receive updates when they’re most convenient for you.

1. Immediate: Notifications are sent in real time as events occur.
2. Daily Summary: All notifications within each category are compiled into a single daily update sent at 06:00 PM GMT.
3. Weekly Summary: A comprehensive weekly overview of each category’s notifications, sent once per week at 06:00 PM GMT.

Note: You can choose only one frequency type per category. Mixing frequencies within the same category isn’t supported, so consider your preferred level of immediacy for each.

Applying Preferences

Once you’ve made your selections, your settings will automatically save and apply. Adjustments can be made at any time to ensure your notifications remain aligned with your current needs.
