Freelancers on Loxala can search for jobs by entering keywords and refining results with a range of filters. These filters help narrow down results to match specific skills, pay expectations, and time commitments.
Key Features
- Job Count Display
- Your dashboard shows how many job applications are available based on your plan. For example, it may display “10 Usable Apps,” indicating your remaining applications.
- Filtering Options
- Skills: Enter keywords or select skills from a list to see jobs that match your expertise.
- Compensation: Filter by compensation (fixed or hourly) to focus on jobs that meet your pay expectations.
- Project Duration: Choose from Short-term, Medium-term, or Long-term projects based on what fits your schedule.
- Availability: Select Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible to match with clients looking for your level of availability.
- Location: Narrow down jobs by preferred countries to match with employers in specific locations.
- Sorting Options
- Newest to Oldest or Oldest to Newest lets you arrange job postings based on posting date, helping you quickly access the most recent or older listings.
- Job Card Preview
- Each job card shows key details like Job Title, Short Description, Skills, Compensation Type (Fixed or Hourly), Client Location, and Deadline.
How to Apply for Jobs on Loxala
- Saving Jobs
- Bookmark jobs by clicking the Save Icon. Access saved jobs from your dashboard anytime you’re ready to apply.
- Out-of-Limit Notifications
- If you reach your application limit, you’ll receive a notification with an option to buy more application credits by clicking “Buy Credits Now”.
- Job Expiry Status
- Expired job posts will show a “Job Post Expired” notification so you can focus on active listings.
- Applying for a Job
- Click Apply on an active job to start your application. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to sign in or create a Loxala account.
Job Post Full View
The full job post view provides essential details to help you understand a job’s requirements before applying. Each job post includes:
- Job Title and Description: An overview of project goals and specific requirements.
- Company Details: Information on the company’s location, timezone, team size, and industry.
- Skills & Experience: Required skills and experience level to help you decide if the job is a good fit.
- Budget: Fixed or hourly budget, including any payment verification for added security.
- Availability and Duration: Specifies whether the job is Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible, as well as the estimated project duration.
