Steps for Editing an Active Job Post

  1. Access the Job Post
    • Navigate to your Job Dashboard and locate the job listing you want to edit. Click on the job title to open the Job Details Page.
  2. Initiate Editing
    • Select the Edit Job option, typically found on the job details page. This opens the job post for editing, allowing modifications to fields such as the job title, description, required skills, project duration, and budget.
  3. Update Key Fields as Needed

    • Budget and Payment Terms: Adjust hourly or fixed rates as needed to match project funding, provided these changes comply with platform guidelines.
    • Deadline: Update the project’s deadline to reflect any timeline changes, with the earliest available date based on Loxala’s notice period requirements.
  4. Save and Review Changes
    • Click Save Changes once all updates are complete. Review the job post to confirm accuracy and relevance before re-publishing.
  5. Republish or Close Job
    • After saving, choose whether to immediately publish the edited job post or keep it in draft form for further review. For posts that no longer fit project requirements, you can also choose to close the job listing.
