Step-by-Step Guide to Posting a Job

Loxala’s job posting process is designed to simplify creating a comprehensive job post while ensuring quality and security. Below are the essential steps:

Step 1: Basic Project Setup

  1. Select Company Profile  
    • Choose the registered company you wish to represent the job post. Only one company can be selected.
  2. Job Type  
    • Indicate whether the position is Full Time, Part Time, or Flexible.
  3. Project Duration  
    • Select Short, Medium, or Long Term to communicate the project’s timeline.

Step 2: Define Job Details

  1. Job Title  
    • Input a specific job title with a maximum of 130 characters. Make it descriptive to attract suitable candidates.
  2. Job Description  
    • Provide a detailed description of the job, responsibilities, and expectations (up to 5,000 characters).
  3. File Attachments  
    • Attach relevant documents, such as work samples or project guidelines. Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, with a 50 MB limit per file. You can upload up to three files.

Step 3: Set Requirements for Freelancers

  1. Select Specialties  
    • Choose the relevant category and subcategory that best fits the job. You can also add keywords to receive category and skill suggestions.
  2. Specify Skills  
    • Add specific skills you’re looking for, with a maximum of twelve skills. The system will suggest relevant skills based on your job description and selected subcategory.
  3. Experience Level  
    • Choose the desired years of experience: <1 Year, 1-6 Years, or 7-15> Years.

Step 4: Define Budget and Timeline

  1. Contract Type  
    • Select between Hourly Rate or Fixed Project options.
    • For Hourly Rate Jobs: Enter a rate between $10 and $400 per hour. If an entry is outside this range, the system will display an alert.
    • For Fixed-Price Projects: Set a total price (minimum $10, maximum $100,000). You can also opt for a milestone-based payment structure, requiring at least two milestones with descriptions and amounts.
  2. Project Deadline  
    • Use the calendar tool to set a deadline. Note that the earliest available date will be 9 days from today to allow adequate planning time.

Final Step: Review and Post

  1. Review Post Content  
    • A summary of your job post will appear for you to review and edit any final details.
  2. Post Options  
    • Choose to Post Now or Schedule Post. Scheduled posts can be set up to 1 month in advance.
  3. Content Moderation  
    • Once you select “Post Now” or “Schedule Post,” the system will perform a content review to check for any inappropriate material. If no issues are found, the post goes live immediately. Otherwise, it will undergo a manual review by Loxala’s team.
